Sustainability at Bosscher

Durability

Oeko-Tex means that the socks and other happy wearables are produced with strict requirements for residues of heavy metals, harmful dyes or pesticides. The Oeko-Tex Standard 100 is a testing and certification system for textiles. In this way, the harmful substances in relation to the health of the user are limited as much as possible.

rPET

The rPET socks are GRS certified. The GRS is intended for companies that want to control the recycled material in their products (both end products and intermediate stages) and who want to monitor the social, ecological and chemical impact of their production .

Our factories

Our factories are Smeta Sedex 6.0 or BSCI certified, so they guarantee compliance with these European Directives. We can produce the socks sustainably from 120 pairs (Oeko-Tex or GOTS certified) and often deliver within two weeks. View our delivery times overview.

Bamboo

Flexible, extremely strong, antibacterial, suitable for hot and cold conditions and has great sustainability benefits: Bamboo. Bamboo consists of 1500 grass species and is very ecological. Harvesting is efficient and some varieties grow up to one meter per day. A sock made of bamboo will keep your feet cool in the summer and warm in the winter. The material absorbs better than cotton and feels soft.

Organic Cotton (GOTS)

Organic Cotton (GOTS) Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is an international quality mark that sets requirements for both the production of the fibers and their further weathering into garments. The organic cotton toppers are so sustainable, because 60% less CO2 is emitted during the harvest. In addition, the cotton uses up to 60% less water in the growing process.
